Welcome to the registration process for Winter 2009. An important change that is happening this year relates to the League and grounds we use.
In the past all games have been played in the Pacific Coast Baseball League (PCBL) but due to space and time allocations for the Flat Rock diamond and our ever increasing numbers in the 2009 Winter again see some teams playing in the Manly Warringah (MW) winter competition. PCBL games are played at our home ground as well as well as the grounds of other PCBL affiliated teams. MW games are played at the Aquatic baseball diamonds in Frenches Forest and depending on the grade can also be played at other grounds.
PCBL Game Times: In all grades games are 2 hours. Division 2 from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Division 1 from 2.45 pm to 4.45 pm Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Team nominations need to be completed by April 9, 2009 so please register before then. First Summer training Session will be held on Thursday, April 2 at Gore Hill Oval, St Leonards @ 8 to 10 PM and every Thursday thereafter. Games begin on the weekend of April 18-19, 2009.
MW Game Times: In all grades games are 2 hours. All games are played on Saturday afternoon. Teams are graded into 4 or 5 grades. Entry level baseball is grade 5 and is suitable for teams with a mixture of players with some experience and novices who want to have fun and learn about the game. First grade is the elite grade and provides strong competitive baseball. Starting dates and final registration dates are not yet confirmed but will be similar to PCBL.
